Jackie Barrett McMillan grew up in College Station. She began gymnastics classes at the age of 18 months and began competitive gymnastics at age five. She continued competing gymnastics until graduating from Texas A&M in 2010. As a USGA Competitor, she won several all around competitions in Texas, which included a State Championship Title. Additionally, she won numerous events at the regional level and was invited to compete at the national meet in Seattle. Jackie also competed for A&M Consolidated High School from 2003-2006 where she won multiple medals at the state level during her four appearances at the High School State Meet, including the 3 rd place all around title.
Jackie passed on a gymnastics scholarship to fulfill her desire to attend Texas A&M University. While there, she joined the Texas A&M Gymnastics Club team and helped lead the team to three Club National Championships.
Since high school, she has been coaching gymnastics and tumbling in College Station. She is also a certified Crossfit instructor and has competed in several local and regional competitions.
She is married to Jeremy McMillan, the strength and conditioning coach for the LSU baseball team. They have three children Ellie, Callen and Camden.
