Melanie is a passionate dancer who discovered her love for dance at the age of 2. Growing up in DFW, she dedicated herself to dancing and assistant teaching and loved spending weekends perfecting her choreography and performance skills at competitions and conventions. In 2018, she proudly earned the role as dance instructor in her hometown, Flower Mound, TX. In 2019, she became a Senior Company Member of LA Dance Magic Convention, where she assisted top choreographers in classes and contributed to running competitions in multiple cities. Currently, Melanie holds the position of Merchandise Coordinator Officer for Dance Arts Society at Texas A&M University, a student-run organization consisting of over 150 dancers. In this role, she designs merchandise, provides leadership, attends and gives master classes, and participates and choreographs in performances. She is a proud member of the Texas A&M class of 2025, pursuing a degree in communication with a minor in professional writing. In her free time, she enjoys weight lifting, watching historical dramas, and eating ice cream with friends. Melanie is thrilled to begin this year at Expressions!
